History

  The idea for RadioWFAR was conceived in 1977. Four years later, we transmitted our first signal from Danbury, Connecticut, on July 19, 1981, on 88.5 FM. We changed frequencies to 93.3 in 1983 and have been broadcasting non-denominational Christian programming, ethnic programming, and local programming since then.

Presently

 Since then, we’ve grown throughout Connecticut, adding translators on 104.5HD2, Bridgeport, 92.1, Naugatuck/Waterbury, and recently in the State Capitol of Connecticut, Hartford 104.1HD3.
